FAQs

Clovers is an interview intelligence platform for B2B recruiting teams and hiring managers. It uses human and conversational intelligence to accelerate hiring, uncover bias, and build dream teams. It records, transcribes, and analyzes all interview calls so you can craft the art of the interview and put the right people in the right roles across your business.

Find out why recruiting and higher managers love Clovers: See it in action.

  1. Connect your calendar

Clovers starts with a simple calendar integration that takes three clicks to set up. Once connected, Clovers “scans” each recruiter, hiring manager, and interviewers calendar (if they are in the system) looking for upcoming screening calls and interviews to record.

  2. Record

The “Clovers bot” will then join each scheduled interview call as a virtual meeting attendee to record the session. Both audio and video (such as screen shares and presentations) are recorded.

  3. Conduct guided interviews and transcribe the conversation

Interviewers use the Interview Coach companion app to ask the best questions for the role based on key skills. Each interview is automatically transcribed from speech to text including sentiment gathered during the call.

  4. Candidate Highlight Reels, feedback, and ratings in one place

Once each interview call is finished, Clovers uses conversation analytics technology to analyze the calls at the individual and aggregate level and house them in the candidate’s application. You receive a searchable transcription record of questions, responses, ratings, bookmarks, feedback and a Highlight Reel of the most important moments.

New features:

  • New invitation flow
When a user is invited to join an organization in Clovers, they will receive an email with a link to our new invitation flow where they can set their password, update their name and title, and upload a profile picture before activating their account and logging in. Invited users will also be able to access this flow and log in through links in the notification emails sent when an interview is ready to view where the user was a participant in the call or is on the hiring team. (This only applies to organizations that don’t use SSO.)

  • Transcript search
When viewing a live interview or a one-way interview response on the candidate application page, you will now see a search option above the transcript. This will search the entire transcript for the text you enter and show you the total number of results and highlight all matches found.

  • Adding jobs from other modals
You can now add a new job in more places than just the “Jobs” page. When you’re creating or updating an application or assigning an interview to an application, you can still select from existing jobs, but now you also have the option to conveniently add a new job right there without closing the modal or leaving the page at all. (This only applies to organizations that do not have an ATS integration.)

Other enhancements:

  • Bug fixes

  • UI improvements

New features:

  • New “Add candidate” on Job's details page
Now it is possible to add a candidate with the job pre selected in it and see it right away on the table.

  • Navigation links can be open in a new tab
When you right click on any navigation link you should be able to open it in a new tab of the browser.

  • Allow users to create a job on the fly from the job selector
From now on all job selectors have an Add new item button that let's the user create the job right in that moment without having to change the page.

  • Export content from transcripts
There’s a new button that let the user export all the transcripts in CSV format. This button is located above the transcription in the Candidate Application Page.

Other enhancements:

  • Bug fixes

  • UI improvements

New features on the Interview Guides:

  • Web Interview Guide had some changes on the candidates search component, so it is easier to look for a candidate or even add one with the email. Same for the job component where it is possible to look for a job requisition since it has a search feature inside the component.

  • Zoom Interview Guide and Teams Interview Guide suffered a huge upgrade by adding to them the same exact features that the Web based Interview Guide.

    • Add notes

    • Highlight moments

    • Add a rating for the candidate

Basically, it doesn’t matter where the user logs in it will have the same exact functionality.

  • Bug fixes

  • UI improvements

New features:

  • New “Candidate table” on Job's details page
We’ve updated the “Job’s details” page to show all the candidates that have applied for the specific job. It has a series of filters and a search to be able to find candidates easier. From this table users can see the status of the application, the interviews that the candidates participated plus the reviews. It has a quick access to the interview just by clicking on the date and time.

  • Links can be open in a new tab
Now when you right click on any link that link should open in a new tab of the browser.

  • Resumes will be open in the browser if they are supported
Resumes that are supported by the browser will be opened in the browser, if not they will be downloaded.

  • One-way recordings let candidate choose the camera or mic
For those candidates that have more than one source as the camera or mic, there’s a setting button that let them choose which camera or microphone to use during the recording.

  • Copy content from transcripts
There’s a new button that let the user copy a whole paragraph from the transcripts section.

  • Video states in the dashboard, schedule section and candidate application page
Videos that are still processing won’t be reachable, so they don’t make the wrong impression that the recording is ready to view.

  • New interaction with transcripts
When hovering over a transcript paragraph the action menu will appear. Now it is easier to use and a moment can be created for the whole paragraph and also when selecting portions of the paragraph.

New features:

  • New “Members” settings page for all users
We’ve updated the “User management” settings page and given it a new name: “Members”. Before, only users with the “Administrator” role had access to the “User management” page, where they could view, add, and manage all Clovers users in their company. Admins can still do all of this on the new “Members” page, but now, users with the “Member” role can also view this page and invite new users to join their company in Clovers.

  • One-way interviews in highlight reels
Now when you highlight moments in one-way interviews, you’ll be able to see those one-way interview interviews and their highlighted moments inside the updated highlight reel along with highlights of live interviews.

New features

  • New job details page
You’ll now see a redesigned job details page with improved organization of job information and interview guides. We’ve also added a new section that will show you statistics about interviews and candidates for the job.

  • One-way interviews
We can now give clients the option to try the beta version of our new one-way interviewing product, where you build an interview guide and get a link to send to candidates, then candidates can record answers to interview questions on their own time, and finally the interview will automatically appear in Clovers after the candidate submits all their answers. One-way interviewing can allow for more flexibility in the interviewing process, reduce bias at the top of the funnel, and reduce the friction of scheduling early conversations. Reach out if you’re interested in having your company try one-way interviewing!

New features:

  • New homepage design
We’ve updated the way we display and organize recent interviews in the activity section on the homepage (“My activity” / “All activity” for admins or “Recent activity” for members):

    • There are two viewing options - you can now toggle between a grid view, which shows video thumbnails, or a list view, which is more compact.

    • There is now one tile for every interview that is recorded instead of one tile for each candidate application. Interviews are still grouped together on the candidate application page (which was not changed and will still show all interviews for the same application on the same page), but the activity section of the homepage now shows each interview separately with its calendar event name so that all recent interviews are presented more clearly.

  • Updated bot name in MS Teams
When the Clovers bot joins your Teams meetings, its name will also include the meeting start time and the timezone that we get from Clovers users who are participants on the call.

New features:

  • When the Clovers bot joins your Zoom or Teams meetings, you’ll see a different name now - we changed it from “Clovers Recorder” to “Meeting Notetaker”. In Zoom, the name will also include the meeting start time and timezone; we’ll use the timezone from the Clovers user’s settings on the User profile page.

  • After a user disconnects their calendar, they will still see past events in the schedule on the homepage, but any future events will not be recorded or shown in the schedule unless the bot (record@clovers.ai) was invited to the meeting.
